BCCO’s Product Control NOA’s Going Green

The Green Sustainable Attributes (GSA) is a new program, created by the Product Control Division, designed to provide a vehicle to verify and confirm the Green Attributes for products and or systems which have a Miami-Dade County Notice of Acceptance (NOA).

Available starting June 2009, this voluntary program will provide the NOA holders, Architects, Engineers, and the public, valuable information in the form of a new Green Page contained in the NOA. Those seeking to qualify for points under major green rating systems will find this information extremely helpful. Current NOA holders will have the option to revise their NOA’s to include the Green Page, and new NOA applicants can submit GSA information together with their NOA application.  Checklists and guidelines for the confirmation of any Green Sustainable Attributes have been developed and are now available under the Product Control Forms section.
