Requesting an Appeal of a Building Official Decision

A request for an appeal must be submitted in writing to the Secretary of the Board. The Building Official’s written opinion, which is the basis of the appeal must be a part of the submittal request. The Board has the power to affirm, modify or reverse the decision of the Building Official regarding Code issues. (Refer to BORA Form - Instructions for Requesting an Emergency Appeal 

A request for an appeal under the historic building exception must be submitted in writing to the Secretary of the Board.
