You must acknowledge that you have read the notice in order to proceed to the contractor renewal application.
Dear Certificate Holder and/or Qualifying Agent:
This notice is directed to each person who is certified by the Construction Trades Qualifying Board under Chapter 10 of the Code of Miami-Dade County and who maintains a license in Active Status.
Each licensee/certificate holder must submit proof showing the completion of 16 hours of approved continuing education from a Miami-Dade County approved Course Sponsor when renewing your license/certificate. Such proof must accompany your license/certificate renewal form pursuant to Chapter 10 section 10-13 and 10-13.1.
Failure to submit proof of the continuing education when renewing, will result in your license/certificate being placed in Involuntary Inactive Status.
Miami-Dade County Certificate holders, if required by Chapter 10 of the Code of Miami-Dade County and Florida Statute 489 must be registered with the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Failure to comply will result in a restriction of your permitting privileges.
