    Getting it right the first time: Tie Beam Inspection procedure

    Effective July 6, anyone working on a new building construction and/or substantial additions is required to submit an "Under Construction Elevation Certificate" showing floor elevation, adjacent grade elevation and crown of road elevation before proceeding with the Tie Beam Inspection. For more information, contact DERM's Office of Plan Review Services 786-315-2800 or e-mail dermplanreview@miamidade.gov.

    New Process for Municipal Permits

    Plan reviews that will require Fire Rescue Department and/or Environmental Resource Management review must now submit two sets of plans and a municipal intake application to the Permit Records Section at the Permitting and Inspection Center. Read the Notice to Appplicants Adobe for more details.
