One of the Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) primary goals is to ensure that environmental violations are corrected in the most expeditious manner possible in order to minimize the impact of the violation on the environment and the residents and visitors of Miami-Dade County. If you have an environmental complaint please contact the DERM's Complaint Desk by calling 305-372-6955, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• New Wellfield Protection Zones Map for Miami-Dade County
  New Wellfield Protection Zones for the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department's South Miami Heights (SMH) Wellfield Complex were adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on September 12, 2006 and are now in effect as Ordinance 06-125.
