    Paying Fees or Citations

Below is an electronic version of the Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management's (DERM) fee schedule effective as of October 1, 2009:

Payments may take the form of personal checks, money orders, credit cards (Visa and Mastercard only) or cash. Checks are to be made out to "Board of County Commissioners." All checks must have the following written on the check:

    • Full name
    • Address
    • Any pertinent information such as permit number or account number

    Paying Fees in Person

All payments can be made at the Cashier window on the 4th floor of the DERM Main Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Customers should first obtain the necessary paperwork from the appropriate DERM Section(s). This would include payment notification form(s) stating fees, permit numbers, etc.

    Paying Fees by Mail

Payments can be mailed to our Department, but must be addressed to the proper Section first, who will then forward it to the Cashier.

    Paying Fees by Phone

Payments by phone can also be done by our Department, but must also go through the proper Section first and then they will transfer the call to the Cashier.

    Paying Fees Online

Currently no payments can be made online.

    Paying Uniform Civil Violation Notices

Uniform Civil Violation Notices issued by a DERM Code Enforcement Officer are to be paid at 111 NW 1 Street, 17th floor. They may also be paid by phone at 305-375-2333 with an approved credit card. If DERM permits and fees are owed in addition to the Uniform Civil Violation Notice payment, then the Uniform Civil Violation Notice is to be paid to the Clerk and the remaining DERM payments are paid to DERM in the manner described.
