Tropical Park, developed on the site of a former horse track in 1979, attracts approximately 1,000,000 visitors annually. Visitors can enjoy bicycling, walking or running on the miles of paved pathways.  Visitors can shape up on our fitness court or at our boxing center.

Tropical Stadium is home to our nationally recognized Metro-Dade Track and Field Team. The stadium has hosted prestigious national track and field meets such as the Junior Olympics and USA National Track and Field Championships. A walking club has also been created for visitors of all ages.

Tropical’s Equestrian Center hosts over thirty horse shows annually, including international shows.  Athletes can play tennis, racquetball, basketball, soccer or join one of our popular softball leagues. From football games in the stadium to special events, to boating on one of our four lakes, Tropical Park has something for everyone.
