Bill Bird BuildingNestled in Haulover Beach Park between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway, this marina is minutes away from spectacular fishing. It is home of the largest charter/drift fishing fleet in South Florida. The 180-acre park also has an on-site restaurant, Cafe Azul; an ice cream shop, souvenir shop, picnic pavilions; kite rental concession; casual 9-hole golf course and tennis courts.  An underground path leads to sparkling Haulover Beach.

Approach from Sea: Located on the east side of the ICW at St. Mile 1079. From the north, leave ICW Marker "5" to port and you will see the marina on your port side. Stay close to the shore and docks as Bill Board Pictureyou approach the marina since there is a sandbar between the ICW and the Haulover Inlet Channel.

Position: 25° 54.2' N., 80° 8.4' W.

Approach Depth: 8' to 10'.

Dockside Depth: 8.5'.

The US Coast Guard's 7th District Auxiliary offers boating safety courses to civilians throughout the year starting in March.

Courses include: Navigation, GPS and "On the Water Training", where you actually go out on a Coast Guard Auxiliary boat and train with certified members.
