Standard Transmittal to DCA

An official transmittal package as amendment cycle for the County. The State of Florida Department of Community Affairs (DCA) gives it a reference number. State Law Mandate and Deadline. Applicant receives a copy if requested.


1) DP&Z sends Standard Transmittal Package to DCA & other State/Regional Review Agencies

  • DCA acknowledges Small-Scale package
  • DCA reviews Standard Transmittal Package
  • Other state and regional agencies review Standard Transmittal Package

2) DCA issues Objections, Recommendations and Comments (ORC) Report

Next Step: DCA Review, Objection


DP&Z, Planning Division:

  • Obtains Certified BCC Resolution from Clerk of Court
  • Assembles covenants/additional information
  • Prepares Standard package for transmittal to DCA
  • Standard Transmittal Letter to ACM
  • Sends Transmittal Resolution to CA
  • Assembles BCC Exhibits
  • Sends Transmittal Resolution to Legistar
  • Sends Standard Transmittal Package to DCA & other State/Regional Review Agencies
  • Sends Standard Transmittal Package to others on distribution list without attachments
