Day 323 -- 70 days since last step


DCA Review, Objection

A report issued by DCA following its consistency review of the applications with the County’s CDMP and State Law.

State Law Mandate And Deadline.

Applicant receives a copy if requested


1) If DCA has Objection Issues:

  • Address ORC issues; coordinate with affected parties
  • Once issues are corrected - and there are no objection issues - see below.

2) If DCA has no objection issues, then:

  • Applicant submits additional non-technical information if needed

3) Revised recommendations report goes to Final Planning Advisory Board

Next Step: Final Planning Advisory Board Hearing


DP&Z, Planning Division:

  • County addresses issues
  • Coordinates on response
  • Prepares ORC Response (frequently included as part of the revised recommendations report)
  • Revises initial recommendations, if necessary
  • Sends Revised Recommendations Report to printing vendor
  • Prepares PAB Cover Memo
  • Prepares PAB Final Agenda
  • Prepares PAB Final Resolutions
  • Prepares final ad for PAB Public Hearing
  • Sends ad to the Government Information Center
  • Miami Herald publishes ad
  • Assembles PAB Final Public Hearing Packages
  • Attends PAB Final Public Hearing
  • Prepares Display Maps using GIS Citrix (ArcGIS) software
  • Provides sign-in sheets & Information Desk
  • Makes presentations at PAB Public Hearing
  • Record minutes at PAB Public Hearing
  • Receive updated covenants if any
