Information available includes the zoning of the site, the uses permitted within that zone, and development parameters, such as the minimum lot size, the maximum density, the required setbacks from property lines, the maximum lot coverage and floor area ratio, the maximum height, parking. and green area requirements.
Customer service is available during regular business hours at our walk-up counter or by telephone. Zoning maps showing complete history from 1938 through the present are available for review at this counter. Each map represents one square mile and copies may be purchased for $27.00 each.
Copies of zoning resolutions and restrictive covenants are also maintained in this section. The property tax folio number as well as the address of the property is necessary to commence zoning research. Have this information available when calling or visiting this office.
To obtain written verification of zoning, make a written request to Information Services Section, including the property tax folio number and the property address. The fee is $118.90 per folio number for properties zoned RU-1 or RU-2 and $237.77 for properties zoned RU-3 and above.
