    Fares & Passes

On Metrobus, the fare box accepts tokens, dollar bills, quarters, dimes, and nickels. Or, show your monthly pass to the bus operator. The monthly Metropass and tokens are sold at over 30 sales outlets. Metrorail fare gates accept tokens, Susan B. Anthony and other US dollar coins, quarters, dimes, nickels, bus-to-rail transfers, monthly passes, the Golden Passport, and the Patriot Passport. Metromover is free for all riders. Enter any station through the fare gate.

The 7-Day Visitor Passport offers an easy and inexpensive way to discover Greater Miami and the Beaches like a native on Metrobus and Metrorail. A scratch-off calendar allows customers to select seven consecutive days of unlimited rides on transit. Buy the $26 transit pass online, or daily at Miami International Airport's Mercado Miami store, Concourse F (outside of security checkpoints), from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., or at  other select locations in Miami.

Skip the long lines. Order online! Buy your full-fare transit Metropass at the Miami-Dade Transit Online Store, and use your Visa or MasterCard to pay.

People with disabilities also may ride transit free if registered with Special Transportation Service. Just show the ADA/STS permit to the Metrobus operator or Metrorail security officer when boarding. For details on the ADA/STS permit, call 305-630-5300.
