Metrorail Schedules

Metrorail's regular schedule may vary up to 12 minutes during “single tracking,” when southbound and northbound trains alternate trips on the same track while maintenance is being conducted on the opposite track. To ensure you reach your destination on time, view Today's Schedule below.

If you are using the regular schedule to plan your transit trip a day or more ahead of time, use the single tracking information provided above. You also can check Transit Tracker at top left for real-time train departure times

Metrorail Service Update:

  • new Metrorail single-tracking schedule for the week and weekend: Metrorail performs track preventive maintenance and repair work after 8:30 p.m. weekdays and all day on weekends. In the areas where work is being done, northbound and southbound trains will alternate (single track) service on the same track while maintenance is being performed on the opposite track.
      Thursday, April 24, 2014:
      • Orange and Green Line trains will depart on a regular weekday schedule.
      Friday, April 25, 2014:
      • Single tracking from Okeechobee to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stations
      • Green Line: Southbound trains from the Palmetto will depart 5 minutes earlier at 9:17 pm instead of at 9:22 pm. Northbound trains from the Dadeland South station will depart 5 minutes later after 9:30 pm
      • Orange Line: Southbound trains from MIA station will depart 5 minutes earlier at 9:18 pm and 9:48 pm. Northbound trains from Dadeland South will depart 5 minutes later after 9:30 pm
      Saturday, April 26 to Sunday, April 27, 2014:
      • Single tracking from Okeechobee to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stations
      • Green Line: Southbound trains from the Palmetto station will depart 5 minutes earlier, at 5:40 am instead of 5:45 am. Northbound trains from Dadeland South will depart 5 minutes later between 8:30 pm and 12 am.
      • Orange Line: Northbound trains from Dadeland South will depart 5 minutes later between 8:30 pm and 12 am.
      Monday, April 28 to Thursday, May 1, 2014:
      • Single tracking from Culmer to Brickell stations
      • Orange Line: Southbound trains from MIA will depart every 35 minutes from 9:17 pm to 11:35 pm (MIA's 9:23 pm departure will leave 6 minutes earlier at 9:17 pm). Northbound trains from Dadeland South will depart every 35 minutes between 9:25 pm and 11:45 pm (Dadeland South's 9:15 pm departure will leave 10 minutes later at 9:25 pm)
      • Green Line: Southbound trains from Palmetto will depart every 35 minutes from 8:58 pm to 11:59 pm. (Palmetto's 8:54 pm departure will leave 4 minutes later at 8:58 pm). Northbound trains from Dadeland South will depart every 35 minutes between 9:22 pm and 11:42 pm (Dadeland South's 9:30 pm departure will leave 8 minutes earlier at 9:22 pm)
      Track your Train: To ensure you get to your destination on time during single tracking, arrive at your train station a few minutes earlier, or track your train arrival times with Train Tracker.
