(Miami-Dade County, FL) --
As part of the Miami-Dade Transit's Metrorail AirportLink Project, the following ramp closure is necessary in order to conduct construction activities needed for the new Metrorail extension.

Two-night closure of State Road 112 westbound exit ramp to NW 27 Avenue
On Tuesday, July 27, 2010, and possibly Wednesday, July 28, the S.R. 112 westbound exit ramp to NW 27 Avenue will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night. Motorists wishing to access NW 27 Avenue from S.R. 112 westbound will be directed to take the exit ramp to NW 22 Avenue, continue north on NW 22 Avenue and turn left on NW 41 Street. Then, continue west on NW 41 Street to reach NW 27 Avenue. At 5:30 a.m. every morning, the contractor will reopen the exit ramp.

The above information is subject to change if the contractor's schedule is altered due to unforeseen circumstances. For more information, please refer to the contact name listed above.

The AirportLink project is a 2.4-mile elevated Metrorail extension from the existing Earlington Heights Metrorail Station to the MIC next to Miami International Airport. This vital project will provide a reliable Metrorail connection to the airport for the millions of residents, visitors and employees who travel to and from MIA every year. The project also will provide a boost to the local economy by creating jobs and facilitating work-related travel and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
