Transfers

• You must use an EASY Card or EASY Ticket to transfer free from Metrobus to Metrobus, or to transfer for 50 cents from Metrobus to Metrorail or Metrorail to Metrobus.
   
• When transferring from Metrorail to Metrobus, passengers must "tap out" by tapping their EASY Card or EASY Ticket on the faregate before exiting the station where they transfer; otherwise, they will be charged the full fare when boarding the bus.
   
• Customers who pay their bus fares in cash must pay the full fare every time they board a bus or train as paper transfers have been eliminated.
   
• Transfers must be made within three hours and are not for return trips.
