    Proposed Transit Corridors

    • East-West Corridor Metrorail Extension: This proposed project connects Florida International University (FIU) in West Miami-Dade and the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) at the Miami International Airport (MIA) to the existing Metrorail system. Click here to learn more about the proposed East-West Metrorail Project. 

    • North Corridor Metrorail Extension:This is a 9.2-mile extension of the Metrorail system designed to serve the communities along NW 27 Ave. with seven new stations from NW 82 St. to NW 215 St. For more information about this proposed extension of the Metrorail system, click  here.
